ESP Awaits Journal
Client: Gravitational Marketing
My Role: Storyteller, Conceptual Copywriter & Creative Collaborator
Challenge: Each year, Gravitational Marketing sends its clients a memorable, meaningful, and on-brand holiday gift. For this particular year, the team wanted more than just a clever item—they wanted to deliver an experience. The goal: design a gift that embodied the company’s core philosophy of ESP (Enjoyable, Simple & Prosperous) in a way that clients could feel.
Solution: I collaborated with the creative team to develop the gift theme and landed on the concept of a well-traveled backpack and the journal that tracked its travels. I wrote the entire journal as a fictional travel log, penned by a mysterious narrator named J.T. Through handwritten-style entries, J.T. reflects on the discovery of ESP—not as a product or a pitch, but as a personal journey. The tone is honest, adventurous, and quietly profound. It blends brand messaging with human emotion and subtle product tie-ins (like the bag’s waterproof lining or cooling insulation) without ever breaking the narrative.
Result: The ESP Awaits Journal became more than just an insert—it was the heart of the gift. Clients praised the story for its originality, warmth, and unexpected depth. It reinforced the values behind the ESP brand in a completely new way—through storytelling that invited the readers to imagine themselves in the journey. The journal stands as a perfect example of how voice, tone, and narrative structure can elevate branded content into something truly memorable.
Santa’s Share Cookbook
Client: Gravitational Marketing
My Role: Storyteller, Conceptual Copywriter & Creative Collaborator
Challenge: For Gravitational Marketing’s annual client holiday gift, the team wanted to give something festive, premium, and totally on-brand. That year’s gift was a bottle of private-label single barrel rum—cheekily named Santa’s Share. But the gift needed something extra: a creative piece that would not only explain the rum but elevate the entire experience and tie it back to the brand.
Solution: I worked with the team to build a playful, story-driven concept around Santa’s Share—imagining what would happen if Santa himself had a secret stash he kept for “his share of holiday cheer.” From there, I wrote a custom recipe booklet filled with spiked drinks, clever copy, and cozy holiday vibes, all in Santa’s mischievous voice. Each page kept the tone light and festive while offering genuinely useful cocktail and baking ideas that made the gift feel even more premium and thoughtful.
Result: The recipe book became an instant favorite. Clients loved the humor, the cozy-meets-cheeky voice, and the creative twist that turned a bottle of rum into a fully branded holiday moment. It added depth, charm, and a dash of magic to the overall gifting experience—and served as a perfect example of how thoughtful storytelling can transform a simple gift into something memorable.
Fantastic Customers Invitation
Client: Gravitational Marketing
My Role: Creative Copywriter, Story Architect, & Content Developer
Challenge: Each quarter, Rich Dealers hosts a Mastermind Meeting—a high-energy, in-person event where automotive clients come together to share strategies, sharpen their skills, and get re-inspired. The problem? Traditional invitations were getting stale. We needed a way to break through the noise, generate excitement, and drive RSVPs—not with another email or flyer, but with something unforgettable.
Solution: I worked with the creative team to develop a fresh thematic concept: Fantastic Customers & Where to Find Them—a magical, tongue-in-cheek nod to the world of wizardry. Once we landed the idea, I led the transformation of our standard event invite into a fully immersive long-form fantasy-inspired book, turning logistical details into an enchanting, page-turning adventure.
Result: The piece generated buzz the moment it landed. Clients praised it for its creativity, humor, and originality—and most importantly, RSVPs rolled in early and enthusiastically. It turned a simple event promo into an experience in itself, showing just how far creative copy can go when it's paired with concept-driven storytelling. This project remains a standout example of how to mix practical information with immersive writing that’s impossible to ignore.
